Welcome to Stimul8! These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our app, website, and services. By using Stimul8, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Definitions
- "Stimul8" refers to Stimul8, a platform offering gamified task management and rewards.
- "User" refers to any individual accessing or using Stimul8, including parents, children, and educators.
- "Parent" refers to an adult user managing tasks and rewards for a child.
- "Points" refer to virtual incentives earned by children for completing tasks and redeemable for rewards.
- "Rewards" refer to in-app incentives or third-party gift cards provided through trusted partners.
2. Eligibility & User Accounts
- Parents must be 18 years or older to create an account.
- Children under 13 must use the app under parental supervision.
- Teachers & Schools may access Stimul8 through institutional accounts as outlined in our Service Agreement (Coming soon).
3. Pricing & Payment Terms
- Current Pricing: Stimul8 is currently free to download and use. There is no subscription, paywall, or recurring fee required to access the app or its core features.
- Future Pricing: Stimul8 reserves the right to introduce paid subscriptions, premium tiers, or other monetised features at any time. This may include charging for features currently offered free of charge.
- Advance Notice: If we introduce paid features or change the pricing model, existing users will be notified in advance via the app and/or email, and will be given the opportunity to review the updated terms before any charges apply.
- Reward Funding: Regardless of whether the app itself is free, users remain responsible for funding the rewards they choose to offer their children (for example, gift card vouchers or cash transfers). These costs are not paid to Stimul8 directly.
- Payment Processing: When paid features are introduced, Stimul8 will process payments through third-party providers, ensuring security and compliance.
- Refund Policy: Any future subscription fees will be non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Points & Reward System
- Points are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- Points can be redeemed for in-app customizations and third-party rewards via trusted partners.
- Stimul8 does not directly sell or issue gift cards. All transactions are fulfilled by external vendors.
- Points may expire if an account remains inactive for 12 months.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
Users agree not to:
- Engage in fraudulent activities, such as artificially completing tasks for points.
- Misuse reward systems or attempt to exploit app functionalities.
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
- Stimul8 is not liable for service interruptions, third-party failures, or unauthorized access due to user negligence.
- Availability of gift cards and third-party rewards is subject to the provider's terms and conditions.
- Users acknowledge that in-app purchases and digital content are subject to platform-specific policies.
7. Account Termination
- Stimul8 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Users may request account deletion via info@stimul8.app, subject to a three-day processing period.
8. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
- Any disputes shall be resolved in UK courts, with arbitration as the preferred resolution method.
9. Changes to These Terms
Stimul8 reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
